Freudenstadt also offers unique natural scenery with 9000 hectares of forest. In the surrounding area, pine forests, unruffled mountain lakes, wildly romantic gorges and waterfalls all want to be discovered. An abundance possibility of sport and leisure facilities guarantees holiday fun for the whole family, all year round.
The mid-altitude location of this health resort at 700 to 1000 m above sea level is the cause for the healthy climate which makes it an officially-recognized Kneipp/climatic therapy resort.
